Today Prostaffer Ryan Hahn and myself tried out our new Jiffy Torch ice drills. This new Jiffy product attaches to most cordless, battery powered brushless drills. I teamed mine up with a 20v Dewalt drill and Ryan used an M18 Milwaukee drill. Both drills performed very well. Out of 5 stars I give The Torch 5 stars. We were both impressed on the performance. I found it extremely lightweight and durable. It cut through the ice like butter. The blade is very sharp and made of quality metal. It also comes with a built in plate so that it does not fall through the hole if it comes unattached from the drill while drilling. It will not fall through the hole. It also has a built in point so that the unit catches the ice right away and does not shift while starting to drill the hole. This is a game changer for me. I have been using a gas powered auger forever that is very heavy and bulky. Today, I was able to drill about 20 holes like it was nothing. I am a huge fan of this product and Ryan was totally impressed as well. It also comes with a very nice, high quality bag for storage and protection. A very nice package for a very competitive price of only $179.99. Definitely a great product in my opinion.
